MAKE AMOUNT DESIRED
I guess anyone can figure out how to toast pita bread. I posted this recipe because there are some things you might want to consider, depending on the dip or spread the pita will accompany. See the notes below for suggestions.
INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 375° F. Place the triangles on a baking sheet. Bake until toasted, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven.
Notes: If you want a thinner bread for lighter dips, split the baked triangles in the center to make 2 triangles. For a crispier bread, return to the oven and bake until the inside gets toasty. Dips or spreads that have an olive base, such as caponata, might benefit from brushing the pitas lightly on one side with olive oil before baking. You can also sprinkle with herbs or spices.
