SERVES 3 to 4
The marinade for this steak has a southwestern flare. It is very good. If you like really spicy foods, just add your favorite source of heat, such as cayenne pepper.
INGREDIENTS
Place steak in shallow baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients in a small bowl until well-combined. Pour over the steak and turn it several times to cover all surfaces. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours. Cook on a hot grill, grill pan or under the broiler until desired doneness, preferably no longer than medium-rare, turning once. Let steak rest 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the marinade juices until hot. (This can be done on the stove or in the microwave.) Cut the steak across the grain into desired sizes. Drizzle with some of the sauce and serve immediately.
