MAKES ONE 14-INCH PIZZA
This really was an experiment. I was making Pizza with Caramelized Onions and I had some leftover Barbecue Sauce. I decided to try a little of the sauce on a portion of the pizza. We all liked it very much. You could use it with other toppings besides the onions, such as cooked pork, chicken, ground beef or other vegetables. It would also be very good made like a regular pizza, using the barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce, topped with cheese. Use your imagination. If you don't have leftover barbecue sauce, make about 1/3 to 1/2 of the sauce recipe, or make the whole thing and freeze what you don't use for the pizza. This is the Pizza Dough recipe I use, but you can use a store-bought 14-inch prebaked pizza crust.
