MAKES ONE 1-1/2 POUND LOAF

I found this recipe on a bag of King Arthur Bread Flour made specifically for bread machines. The flour is higher in protein, making it good for bread machines as well as mixers and processors. The texture of this bread is especially good for sandwiches or toast.

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons warm water

1 cup warm milk

3 tablespoons butter, melted

2-1/2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons salt

3-1/4 cups bread machine flour

2-1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Add the ingredients in the order given or as indicated for your machine. Use the basic white setting for light crust. Bake according to manufacturer's instructions.
