SERVES 8-10
I call this a trifle for lack of a better title. The difference is that a trifle would be layered and have a custard rather than, or in addition to, the cream. But this is so easy and delicious. Leftovers last well in the refrigerate because of the use of the non-dairy topping.
INGREDIENTS
Prepare the strawberries according to the Strawberry Mousse recipe. Break the lady fingers or cake into bite-size pieces and add to the berries when you add the whipped topping. Combine well. Place in a large glass bowl and top with whole berries or in individual serving dishes.
