Teri's Kitchen is well known for Pennsylvania Dutch recipes, the dishes of my family that I grew up loving and learning how to cook. However, in my young adult years, I was introduced to authentic Italian cooking by some close friends and their families. The patriarch was born in Italy and his wife was Italian-American. Most of my everyday cooking and entertaining is based on their simple recipes, many of which are quick, easy, economical and always delicious. As with most cuisines, Italian cooking varies considerably from one region to another. My collection, with nearly 300 recipes, is primarily in the style of Southern Italian cooking, but I have included other regional dishes, as well as some of my favorite traditional Italian-American presentations.
