Barbecued Green Beans

Marsha writes: "These are a huge hit! I have taken them to potlucks and get rave reviews."

Ingredients

• 3 cans of green beans, drained
• Chopped onion, amount to your liking
• 6 strips of uncooked bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 275° F. Combine the green beans, bacon and onion and put into a casserole dish. Mix the ketchup and brown sugar together and pour over the green bean mixture. Stir to coat well. Bake for 4 hours.
