MAKES ABOUT 6 SANDWICHES
It doesn't get any better than this. If you prefer a meatless sandwich, omit the salami.
INGREDIENTS
In a medium bowl, mix together the red peppers, garlic, basil, salt, pepper and olive oil. Let set about 15 minutes for flavors to blend. Cut the rolls in half and, if desired, pull out some of the inner bread. Place the peppers on the bottom half. Top with some salami and cheese slices. If desired, spread mayonnaise on the remaining half of the roll and place on top of sandwich. Enjoy!
Notes: In a pinch, a store-bought jar of roasted red peppers will do. Get the best salami and cheese available in your area.
