MAKES ABOUT 1/2 CUP SAUCE
I have to thank my husband for this one. I couldn't decide what to make for dinner and he suggested Grilled Fish. Then I came up with the idea for the sauce. It is very good and quite different than the usual. Use it with poached or baked fish as well.
INGREDIENTS
Heat the oil and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the anchovies and sauté until melted. Reduce the heat if they start to brown. Stir in the lemon juice, parsley and pepper to taste. Keep warm and quickly reheat when ready to use.
Note: Leftover sauce is delicious brushed on bread and broiled or baked like garlic bread.
