DILLED TARTAR SAUCE

MAKES ABOUT 1 CUP

This is a nice change of pace from regular Tartar Sauce. I especially like it on a Fish Sandwich.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons dill pickle cubes or chopped dill pickles

1 tablespoon finely chopped red pepper or pimento

1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill weed

1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish

1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons shredded fresh basil leaves

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Taste and adjust as needed. Refrigerate; let come to room temperature before using.
