I love Brussels Sprouts and I think that the frozen, though not as good as fresh, are wonderful. I often microwave them and add butter, but this is my favorite recipe. If you use fresh, they can be made using the guidelines in the Vegetables Steamed in Olive Oil and Garlic.
INGREDIENTS
Place the olive oil and garlic in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until garlic is slightly tender, being careful not to brown. Set aside. Cook sprouts in microwave according to package directions. I like them slightly softer than the recommendation. Drain well. Add the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper to the sprouts; stir well. Return to microwave and cook on high for one more minute.
