(Shared recipe submitted by Dottie.)
Serves 3 to 4
Dottie cannot remember where she got this recipe, but claims it is very good. It certainly sounds refreshing for a hot summer day.
Ingredients
- 1 quart of fruit punch (any brand)
- 1 cup watermelon, diced (with seeds, not rind)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Dice watermelon (with seeds) into very small pieces. Put diced watermelon into a container. Add the sugar and fruit punch. Stir all the ingredients together. You want the sugar to dissolve. Pour mixture into ice cube tray and freeze. Blend frozen cubes in a blender or food processor to desired consistency.
