MAKES ABOUT 2 DOZEN BISCUITS
INGREDIENTS
Stir together dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Make a well in the center. Add the eggs and milk. Stir until dough pulls away from side of bowl. Turn onto floured surface. Knead 10-12 times. Roll or pat to 1/2-inch thick and use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut them. Bake at 450° F on a lightly greased cookie sheet for 8-12 minutes or until tops are golden. To keep the tops soft, smear with butter while hot.
