EMPANADITAS (Spanish Pies)

INGREDIENTS

Combine all filling ingredients. Roll dough out to 1/8 inch thick and cut into rounds with biscuit cutter. Place one teaspoon of filling on each round of dough. Fold dough over filling and seal edges. Brush with melted butter or whipped egg for shine and bake at 400° F. for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes:You may also use pumpkin filling, or even a meat filling, such as hamburger or sausage.
