Monster Cookies

Makes about 31 large cookies

Heather writes: "This is a recipe for Monster Cookies. I had to break it down because the recipe that Emma gave me was to make 124 large cookies."

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 3/4 teaspoon molasses
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1-1/2 cups peanut butter
• 4-1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup m&m's or similar candy

Preheat oven to 350° F. Cream sugars and butter. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Stir in molasses, baking soda and peanut butter, then oatmeal, chocolate chips and m&m's. Drop onto cookie sheet and flatten. Bake until done. Do not over bake. These cookies freeze well.

Variation: Substitute 1-1/2 cups brown sugar and 1 tablespoon corn syrup or molasses for the sugars and molasses.
