Oatmeal Pie

Makes one 8 or 9-inch pie
Kathy writes: "This tastes just like pecan pie! It's very good. You can use pecans instead of oatmeal."
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup, such as Karo
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup melted butter, cooled
- One 8 or 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix all ingredients in order given. Pour into pie shell. Bake 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
