- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 handfuls of spinach washed, thoroughly drained, stems removed
- Sliced hot turkey (can use roast beef)
- 1 (12 inches) French baguette
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced cheese
Mix spinach and cream cheese well, add salt, pepper and a pinch of garlic powder to taste.
Slice open the bread horizontally and spread thickly with cream cheese mixture. Layer with piping hot turkey or beef. Add lettuce, arugula, tomatoes and choice of cheese (I prefer baby Swiss). Close sandwich and slice into serving size pieces. Enjoy!
Note: My husband loves it with a hot au jus (dipped in meat broth).
