SUPER EASY CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES

(Submitted by Wendy)

Wendy writes: ”This has always been a big hit at potlucks, but you have to be able to keep them cold until right before serving. I usually take supplies with me and whip them up at the location of the potluck so my chocolate doesn’t melt during transport“

INGREDIENTS

Wash strawberries and cut off the greens/stems. Arrange the berries on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Put a toothpick into each berry. Shake the bottle of chocolate really well for several seconds. Poor/drip a dollop of chocolate onto each berry, coating well. Place the cookie sheet in the fridge for a few minutes and the chocolate will magically harden! I have also done this with grapes and its very good!

Note: The chocolate shell topping used is the type of sauce that hardens. Smucker’s is called Magic Shell. Hershey’s is called Chocolate Shell Topping. Don't forget - do not put this bottle in the fridge because it will get hard!!
