Makes about cups

It does not get any quicker or easier than this recipe. The sauce is excellent as a topping or dip for fruit or berries to serve for breakfast, brunch, or a light and healthy dessert. If desired, you can add some other flavors, such as chopped mint or a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg. The grated orange rind adds a lot of flavor but can be omitted if you do not have it on hand. Limoncello, a lemon-flavored liqueur, and grated lemon rind are excellent substitutes for the orange. If you are serving children, fresh orange or lemon juice is just fine. Ingredients

Mix all the ingredients together. Refrigerate until use.

Notes: Greek yogurt is a yogurt that has had liquid drained out and is, therefore, thicker and creamier than regular yogurt. It is available in most grocery stores. If you cannot find it, it is very easy to make. Place 8 ounces of regular plain yogurt in a strainer lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter and set over a bowl. Refrigerate, and let it drain for at least thirty minutes or up to several hours until thickened. You will end up with a little less than 8 ounces of yogurt, so adjust the remaining ingredients accordingly, starting with less and adding more as needed.
