Dora writes: "This has been a favorite in our family for as long as I can remember. I raised three children and it is also a favorite of theirs. Delicious, but not a low fat dish."
Fry bacon; drain, crumble, set aside. Reserve bacon grease in pan.
Cube potatoes and cut carrots into 1/4-inch slices. Fry together in bacon grease until done and slightly browned. Add the cooked bacon, heat and serve.
Notes: This recipe can be made in any amount and to taste.
