Lamb Burgers

Makes 4 sandwiches

I love lamb and enjoy using ground lamb instead of beef for a burger now and then. This is a very easy and basic preparation, using a few seasonings that allow the flavor of the meat to shine. Make it in any amount needed.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Favorite burger toppings

Mix together all of the ingredients, except the buns, in a medium bowl. Shape into 4 patties. Grill, broil or sauté until desired doneness, about 7 minutes per side for medium depending on heat source. Place in buns and add your favorite condiments and toppings.
