Salmon with Salsa

(Shared recipe submitted by Sandy Lampe.)

Make in any amount desired

Sandy writes: "Here is a recipe that my sister told me. She is a very healthy eater, lots of organic foods, since she was diagnosed in 2000 with lung cancer and she is still living to tell her story, which is a long one. This recipe is very simple but delicious."

Ingredients

  • Salsa, hot or mild as desired
  • Onion
  • Salmon fillets

Place foil on a cookie sheet. Spread out some salsa, enough to cover the area. Slice some onions to taste, put on top of salsa. Lay a piece of salmon on top with skin side up. Close the foil around the salmon. Bake about 35 to 45 minutes in a 350° F preheated oven. When done, remove the skin. Enjoy!
