Wendy writes: "This has always been a big hit at potlucks, but you have to be able to keep them cold until right before serving. I usually take supplies with me and whip them up at the location of the potluck so my chocolate doesn't melt during transport"
Wash strawberries and cut off the greens and stems. Arrange the berries on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Put a toothpick into each berry. Shake the bottle of chocolate really well for several seconds. Pour or drip a dollop of chocolate onto each berry, coating well. Place the cookie sheet in the fridge for a few minutes and the chocolate will harden. I have also done this with grapes and its very good.
Notes: The chocolate shell topping used is the type of sauce that hardens. Smucker's is called Magic Shell. Hershey's is called Chocolate Shell Topping. Do not put this bottle in the refrigerator because it will get hard.
