Makes about 25 mini sausages
These cocktail sausages are quick, easy and a very nice addition to a buffet or cocktail party. For the best flavor, I suggest purchasing good quality sausages in the packaged meat section, rather than the ones in a jar. This recipe can easily be made in any amount desired. See the notes below for warming tip.
Place the jam and mustard in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix well. Add the sausages and cook over medium heat until the jam thickens and the links are glazed, about 5 minutes, reducing the heat if it cooks too fast. Keep warm over very low heat until serving.
Notes: Regular yellow prepared mustard can be used in place of the Dijon. If you are making a larger amount of sausages, they can be kept warm in a small slow cooker.
