Marty writes: "'Mal de Mer' is French for seasickness. The cocktail certainly has Mexican roots, but 'Mal de Mer' sounds more palatable than 'maredo'. We leave it to the reader's intuition as to how it came to be called this. But it is very tasty in moderation."
Wet the glass rim with the lime and rim with Tajin or salt. Fill the glass two-thirds full with ice cubes. Add your liquor, then fill with Mal de Mer Mix. Stir well and garnish.
